Below is an outline of our policy relating to any data which may be collected based on your interaction with the site and our connected links/forms/event.

The LSE Law Summit reserves the right to monitor data collected via Wix (as our website provider) and through the LSESU Native ticketing platform. This data may be reviewed for the purposes of website analytics and/or to process ticketing procedures including but not limited to booking, confirmation, refunds, follow-up communication and communication relating to the Summit edition to which your ticket relates. This data is not held by the Summit itself, and as such we recommend you review details on how this data is stored and procedures to request its deletion provided by Wix and Native respectively.

What data is collected?

We (through the Wix analytics platform) receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way, i.e. via email or the Native ticketing platform. This may include but is not limited to the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address and password.

We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile, where these are provided by yourself.

None of the above data will be used for purposes outside of those outlined - i.e. for website analytics or where they have been provided as part of (a) a contact form or (b) ticketing process. Where we control the collection of this data, it is only collected for the purpose of facilitating our service to you, for statistical data, and to facilitate contact with our attendees where it is necessary.

We regret that we are unable to control how Wix and Native collect/store this information as external partners. However, where information has been provided directly to us (e.g. via email), you may contact the following email -lawsummit@lsesu.org - to request we delete the information we store directly from that correspondence.

At the event

Please note that if you choose to attend the Summit in-person, your image may be taken and used in future promotional materials. By purchasing a ticket to the event, you consent to the use of your image for these marketing purposes.

If at any time you wish to withdraw your consent to be photographed/filmed at the event (either prior, during or after), please contact us at lawsummitmarketing@lsesu.org or speak to a member of the team on the day.
